A Study on Measuring of Industrial Health Manager´s Morale

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study as to develop the industrial health manager´s morale rating scale and there by to find out factors effected on the industrial health manager´s morale. This morale rating scale was conducted to 63 industrial health managers in Chung Cheong area during August, 1987.
Based on 5 points Likert type, we made 21 items morale rating scale and this scale has Cronbach´s alpha value 0.9259.
The score of industrial health manager´s morale was 3.4(68 %). Each items of this scale were classified into 4 factors and four factors express 62.2 % industrial health manager´s morale.
Four moral factors consist of 4 subdimensions; Labor condition dimension(41.8 %), Work dimension (8.0 %), Support dimension (6.6 %), and Self-esteem dimension (5.7 %).
Morale scores according to 4 subdimensions; Labor condition dimension 3.12 (62 %), Work dimension 3.38 (68 %), Support dimension 3.54 (71 %), Self-esteem dimension 3.56(71 %).
